Course Outline & Description
Session 1, 2 & 5: 100 Question Sample Tests - Test taking techniques. A sample one hundred (100) question practice exam will be given. The Master Plumbers test is based on The National Standard Plumbing Code and knowledge of the plumbing trade. This closed book practice will prepare you for the May 2007 EXAM. Dan will review each question on the exam using the National Standard Plumbing Code with the 2003 Code Updates.
Overview of The National Standard Plumbing Code as it relates to the exam. The 2003 code changes will be highlighted. Backflow prevention, math, storm water and drainage waste & vent (DWV) systems will be explained.
Session 3: Drawing - Riser Diagrams & Sample Practical/ DrawingExam - Review the National Standard Plumbing Code as it relates to drawing a riser and isometric diagram on paper. Sample practical examination. The practical exam will consist of a basic floor plan with specifications and other per
tinent information. You will develop your skills of drawing riser or isometric diagrams on paper. Dan O’Gorman will teach you to simplify your riser diagram.
Session 4: Law - Business and Law Review - Review of the Business and Law Reference Manual for Master Plumbers . Review each chapter using the Business and Law Reference Manual for Master Plumbers. Final question and answer session.
